Justin studied zoology at the University of Oxford and architecture at the University of East London and The Bartlett, University College of London. He joined Eric Parry Architects in 1996 and was appointed Associate in 2003 and Associate Director in 2007.

Currently Justin is leading the teams at 1 Liverpool Street, a technically complex Crossrail oversite development providing 24,000 sq m of office space that received planning in autumn 2019, and at 1-3 Grosvenor Square, a premium residential scheme where Eric Parry Architects are acting as façade architect. Recently Justin led the team developing the detailed design for a large commercial building for Plot 2 of the JV Bishopsgate Goodsyard Masterplan for Hammerson and Ballymore. This has been submitted to the GLA for planning permission.

Prior to these projects Justin led the redevelopment of 50 New Bond Street project, two high-quality office buildings created within a highly restricted urban site surrounded by listed buildings, and helmed proposals for 54-57 Great Marlborough Street. Justin also led the refurbishment of 7 Old Park Lane, a Mayfair office building for Romeo London Limited and 50 Poland Street, a 143-room hotel in Soho. Other projects Justin has worked on include the BCO award-winning & Stirling-shortlisted office building at 5 Aldermanbury Square (including the delivery of a new public square for the City of London Corporation) and a sustainable community in Millbank, Aberdeenshire.

Justin has always been keenly sensitive about the impact of construction on the environment and championed sustainability at Eric Parry Architects. He is now part of the practice leadership group guiding the office in its response to the urgent challenges caused by climate change.
