Aya studied at The Architectural Association School of Architecture, and joined Eric Parry Architects in 2005. Previously she worked at practices in Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo.

Aya is currently working on Granta Park Phase 2 to provide flexible lab / office space across five buildings at the Granta Park science park in Cambridgeshire since 2020. She has worked on the Reserved Matters Application for the scheme.

Since joining Eric Parry Architects she has worked on various projects, including the design and completion of Four Seasons Hotel Spa in Park Lane and Vicarage Gate House, a 15 unit residential new build scheme in Knightsbridge, London. She has also worked on projects including the outline planning application for the development of White City Masterplan in West London for 12 buildings, Phase 6 of Chelsea Barracks for an 85 unit residential new build scheme and Great Marlborough Street Hotel in Westminster.

Aya has previously worked on 50 Fenchurch Street, a new office building with public spaces in the City of London. She has worked on the planning application and Stage 2 design development of the project which includes a livery hall, publicly accessible historic assets and integrated greening. She has also been part of the team to develop the design of the Ambassador’s residence in Beijing, China.
