Eric Parry: Drawing
This book accompanies the exhibition Eric Parry: Drawing, at the Soane Museum in London. With images of many of the drawings on display, it contains an important essay by David Leatherbarrow which takes Eric Parry’s drawings as a case study of the deeply meaningful role of drawing in architecture and our understanding of the world. Informing the main text, Owen Hopkins interviewed Eric Parry on the different aspects of the exhibition where drawing is an exercise in daily observation or an integral part of designing a project, and finally construction.
