The primary function of the role is to maintain and improve our Quality and Environmental Management Systems to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. You will be a member of the Admin Team and will support other members of the Team as necessary. You will report to the Associate Director and/or Director responsible for Quality Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and monitoring quality control processes across all projects and support functions to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Ensuring ISO 14001 compliance by monitoring and managing environmental aspects and impacts, legal and regulatory environmental requirements, and implementing sustainable practices across projects and the practice.
  • Dealing with external auditors for ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality review and audits, achieving successful external audits.
  • Supporting the BIM team in preparing for ISO 19650 audits and interfacing with the administrative team to ensure their knowledge on ISO 19650 systems are up to date.
  • Establishing, monitoring, and assessing quality and environmental objectives aligned with the practice’s goals.
  • Conducting internal audits and quality reviews, including auditing RIBA quality plans, by adhering to a structured internal audit programme to maintain and enhance processes.
  • Addressing nonconformities through root cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions.
  • Evaluating performance by monitoring practice-wide risks and opportunities and conducting aspect & impact risk analysis.
