Architects’ Journal AJ100 New Talent Awards Shortlist

28 May 2025

We are incredibly proud to see three of our team members shortlisted for the Architects’ Journal New Talent Awards.

Congratulations to Allyah, Jefferson and Alfred!

Allyah Mitra Nandy is a finalist for the Part 1 Award after being recognised for her show of exceptional initiative, dedication and innovative approach to architectural representation. Allyah’s deep care for human relationships and experiences has led her to develop a unique visual language. Through her illustrations, she has helped reflect the reciprocal and healing relationship between people and the surrounding landscape that is central to the scheme she is currently working on at Eric Parry Architects.

Jefferson Chan was chosen as a finalist for the Part 2 Award. He has been a valuable member of our office across a range of projects at different stages and sizes, especially demonstrating expertise in designing and delivering small projects, a skill set that is becoming a unique asset to both the practice and the wider industry. With experience in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and London, Jefferson has contributed his diverse skill set to the growing practice, particularly in the implementation of BIM over the past two years.

Alfred Yeung is up for a New Architect Award, a recognition of his cross-cultural architectural practice through writing and design. With work exploring heritage, public space, building materials and cross-cultural urban spaces on the theme of collective identity, Alfred aims to build a language-driven architectural design approach in professional practice. His critical sensibility to collaborative public projects helped to steer designs toward culturally sensitive outcomes at Eric Parry Architects.

Congratulations to all, we will keep our fingers crossed!
