The Art of Architecture Premiere
18 July 2025
On 17 July, we enjoyed a special evening at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly for a charity film screening of “The Art of Architecture.” It was an evening filled with great discussions about architecture and its place in society, with insights from our panellists Eric Parry, Ingrid Schroder, Jon Blair, Peter Carl, Richard Sennett and Carolyn Steel.
The film asks philosophical questions about the role of architecture in society and the urban experience. It highlights the contributions of Eric Parry Architects and includes commentary from leading academics, thinkers, and key contributors to the development of contemporary cities.
All proceeds from the premiere to The Art of Architecture have gone directly to Advocate, a charity that enables barristers to give free legal help to people who are unable to obtain legal aid and cannot afford to pay. Together, we can help ensure that people receive the justice and dignity they deserve, fostering a more compassionate world.
“The judiciary recognises the critical contribution that the Bar makes to access to justice through its pro bono work. It is a huge credit to practitioners that they are willing to give up their time for free to help the most vulnerable members of society.”
– The Lady Chief Justice of England and Wales, The Baroness Carr of Walton-on-the-Hill.
Thank you to Mace for sponsoring this event!
