Claudia studied Architecture and Urban Planning at the University of Stuttgart in her native Germany, and has worked in Stuttgart and London. She joined the practice in 2007 and was made an associate in 2010.
Claudia is currently project associate for Phase 2 of the Granta Park Masterplan in Cambridge – a science and research park that Eric Parry Architects have been involved in since its beginning in 1997 – and has recently submitted a planning application for this scheme. She also leads the team on the Covent Garden Corners project – a small scheme of four canopy structures on Covent Garden Market to serve the restaurants and cafés during the winter months.
Prior to this Claudia was project associate for The Cambridge Assessment Centre, a 300,000 sq ft new office building in Cambridge, where she led on the façade envelope during detailed design stage and tender. She was also project associate for the redevelopment of 54-57 Great Marlborough Street, a complex mixed-use development for Henderson Global Investors which she took from feasibility, through a successful planning application, to detailed design stage and tender.
Claudia’s earlier projects include leading the design and redevelopment of the office building at 10 Fenchurch Avenue, a 15 storey office building with a publicly accessible roof garden which is currently on site. She was also responsible for the cladding envelope on 60 Threadneedle Street (a redevelopment of the site of the former stock exchange) as well as internal packages for this project through construction up to completion. Completed in January 2009, the new ten storey 30,000m² office gained a BREEAM Excellent rating and won awards from the BCO and the RIBA.
Since joining the practice Claudia has been involved in a diverse range of competitions, ranging from school buildings and housing schemes to mixed used offices.
Prior to joining Eric Parry Architects Claudia worked for Koski Solomon and Ruthven in London on a range of large residential schemes and private houses in Hampstead.
