St Martin's wins at Civic Trust Awards
St Martin-in-the-Fields was awarded the Michael Middleton Special Award, a memorial to the former Civic Trust Director presented to a restoration project or new build within a conservation area, which epitomises the care of historic buildings.

Westminster Films launch today
A new series of films about EPA's completed projects in Westminster, exploring how the practice's work has been shaped by the rich social, cultural and econimic heritage of the area, launches today online at www.epawestminster.co.uk

BD Architect of the Year Awards
The practice was awarded both the Richard Feilden Architect of the Year Award and the Office Architect of the Year Award last night. The practice was praised for the 'inventiveness of approach where each building is distinctive and well related to its urban context'.

Office Development Awards
Two of our commercial projects won at last night's Office Development Awards. 60 Threadneedle Street (completed in January for Hammerson) for City Development of the Year, and 23 Savile Row (completed in March for D2 Private) for West End Development of the Year.

British Construction Industry Awards
St Martin-in-the-Fields won the Conservation Award at the BCI Awards Dinner held on 14 October and was praised as 'a showcase for the construction industry' and for its sensitive refurbishment and appropriate new build elements.

RIBA Special Awards
The practice has been nominated for two special awards by the RIBA.
St Martin-in-the-Fields is on the shortlist for The Crown Estate Conservation Award and Aldermanbury Square is shortlisted for the RIBA/CABE Public Space Award. Rev Nicholas Holtam of St Martin's has also been nominated for Client of the Year. The awards are presented at the Stirling Prize ceremony on 17 October.

Cedars Hall gets planning
EPA's new £4.5m music facility for Wells Cathedral School has been granted planning permisison from Mendip District Council.

Prince Philip Designers Prize
Eric Parry has been nominated for the Prince Philip Designers Prize, awarded annually to recognise a career which has uphelp highest standards and broken new ground, while raising the profile of design in business and the public sector and contributing to design education.

BD Architect of the Year
EPA has been shortlisted for the BD Office Architect of the Year Awards, to be announced
at a dinner in London on 5 November.

Stirling Prize Shortlist 2009
The Stirling Prize Shortlist was announced today
and included 5 Aldermanbury Square, one of six projects selected by the RIBA to compete for this prestigious award. The winner will be announced at the Stirling Prize Dinner on 17 October in London.

RA Summer Exhibition Prize
EPA's entry into the Royal Academy of Art's Summer Exhibition has been awarded the architecture prize, sponsored by Bovis Lend Lease and supported by the Architects Journal.The model is of the Stratford City Towers proposed for the London Olympic Village.

Double win at RIBA Awards 2009
EPA picked up two awards for St Martin-in-the-Fields and Aldermanbury Square this morning. St Martin's also won the RIBA London & Design for London Public Space Award and the RIBA London & English Heritage Award for Sustaining the Historic Environment.

Westminster Society Biennial Award for Urban Design
St Martin's was praised for having 'further raised the contempor
ary consequence of what has always been a grand parish church; so it reveals itself more clearly... as one of London's glories and most deservedly honoured institutions'.

Joel Shapiro installed at 23 Savile Row

Renowned American sculptor Joel Shapiro's bronze sculpture was installed this weekend at 23 Savile Row. The public art commission was an integral part of the design of the building.

EPA wins at BCO Awards for 5 Aldermanbury Square

5 Aldermanbury Square was both Regional and National Winner for the Commercial Workplace category, awarded at the ceremony held last night. The building was praised as setting a new benchmark for this part of London.

London's first Modernist design gallery

Eric Parry designed what will be London's first gallery specialising in Modernist design, situated in the heart of Mayfair. The gallery opens with New Hope, conceived by Eric Parry.

Fenchurch Street wins Planning Approval

The scheme will set a new street scale for this district of the city, becoming part of the urban fabric and contributing towards its diversity. The client is Saxon Land BV a joint venture lead by Babcock and Brown.

The scheme can be seen progressing in its prominent city position. The topping out ceremony was held on 8 March 2008 and the building will be complete later this year.
